Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy
International Driver Licence AB respects intellectual property rights and responds to properly submitted copyright and trademark complaints, including notices under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
You retain ownership of the driving licence, photograph, and other personal documents you submit to us. We use them only to prepare and deliver your order, as described in our Privacy Policy. Submitting material to us grants us no ownership of it.
To report material you believe infringes your rights, write to our designated agent at International Driver Licence AB, Kungsgatan 8, 111 43 Stockholm, Sweden, or email legal@internationaldriverlicence.org.
A valid notice must include your physical or electronic signature; identification of the work you say is infringed; identification of the material you say is infringing and where it is located on our site; your contact details; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.
Where a notice is valid, we may remove or disable access to the material, notify the affected user, and keep a record of the complaint. We may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
If your material was removed and you believe this was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was the result of a mistake or misidentification, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of a court of competent jurisdiction. We may restore the material as permitted by applicable law.
Trademark complaints should be submitted to the same contact, with the same detail.
International Driver Licence AB is an independent private company and is not a government agency. Nothing in this policy limits the disclosures in our Legal Disclaimer.
